Mr. Rodgers has more than 25 years’ experience in the environmental and industrial services business. In 1992 Mr. Rodgers started WRS Environmental Services with a business model that focused on providing emergency response services but was flexible enough to permit rapid entry into related fields. Today WRS provides a full array of both environmental and industrial services employing state of the art equipment and expert field forces led by a knowledgeable and experienced management team.
Mr. Rodgers’ has strategically directed the expansion of WRS and today WRS is the prime vendor of environmental and industrial services to several large electric and gas utilities and provides critical support to major engineering and construction firms.
Under Mr. Rodgers leadership and vision a clear and concise plan has been designed to allow for the continued expansion of the WRS footprint, while providing unparalleled service to its customers.
Executive Vice President
Mr. Ranghelli is the Executive Vice President of Operations. Prior to joining WRS Environmental Services in April of 2007, Mr. Ranghelli had more than 43 years in the electric and gas utility business. Beginning his working career in 1964 in the utility construction field, Mr. Ranghelli worked on an assortment of projects including construction of fossil and nuclear power plants, underground electric distribution and transmission systems, electrical substations and gas pipeline projects.
In 1984, Mr. Ranghelli was appointed to serve as an IBEW Local 1049 Business Representative. He continued his union career and in 1997 he was elected to the top leadership position as business manager of IBEW Local Union 1049. As business manager, Mr. Ranghelli managed the affairs of the local union and represented 2200 electric and gas utility workers and more than 800 electric, gas, line clearance tree trim and environmental technicians working for signatory contractors providing support services to utilities. Mr. Ranghelli retired from his position as business manager in early 2007 after serving more than 10 years in the leadership position and more than a total of 23 years as a union representative.
Tony Nozzolillo is the Chief Financial Officer of WRS Environmental Services. Prior to his current position, Tony was the Executive Vice President of Electric Operations for KeySpan. Electric Operations included generation, transmission and distribution management, electric systems planning, forecasting, marketing and operations support. The organization consisted of approximately 3,000 employees, with an annual operating budget well in excess of $1 billion. It served the 1.1 million Long Island Power Authority’s customers on Long Island, and supplied approximately 25% of the energy requirements of New York City.
Tony joined the Long Island Lighting Company (LILCO) in 1972 and held various positions, including Director of Financial Planning and Manager of Systems Planning. He served as the Company's Treasurer from 1992 to 1994, and as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer from 1994 through 1998.
Tony holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in electrical engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of Brooklyn (Summa cum laude) and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus.
Vice President of Human Resources and Regulatory Compliance
Ms. Hodell has been employed by WRS since 2005 and has held several management positions within the corporation. In Ms. Hodell’s current position she is responsible for all environmental regulatory compliance with Local, State, and Federal Agencies with respect to company licensing and permit requirements as well as employee certification, licensing, and mandatory training. Ms. Hodell is also responsible for establishing corporate policies that meet all customer requirements with regard to administrative reports. Additional responsibilities include oversight of corporate payroll and employee relations.
Ms. Hodell received her Bachelor of Science degree from Sacred Heart University, her MBA from Adelphi University, and her Masters in Employment Law from Nova Southeastern University. She also possesses her Certification as a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) through the HR Certification Institute and SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) through the Society for Human Resource Management.
